Is GTA 6 on PS4 or Xbox One? (No — Here's Why)

The consoles GTA 6 launches on

GTA 6 releases November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — including the smaller Series S. That is the entire console list, per the official announcements: two current-gen platform families, one date.

A PC version has not been announced either. The honest status for PC players lives on its own page, and it will be updated the moment anything official is said.

Why there is no PS4 or Xbox One version

Because there isn’t one — this is not a delay or a staggered release. The publisher’s own materials name only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and everything shown so far (the density of Leonida, the simulation detail) is built for current hardware. A last-gen port would be a different product, and no such product has been announced.

If a last-gen or PC version is ever announced, it will be official news — we link announcements when they happen rather than guess at them.

What that means for cheat codes

No PS4 version means no GTA 6 PS4 cheats. No Xbox One version means no GTA 6 Xbox One cheats. Any page claiming otherwise is republishing GTA 5’s code list with the wrong game name attached — you can test every one of those codes on launch day and watch nothing happen.

For the real thing: every verified PS5 code and every verified Xbox code appears on its own page here, each passed through two independent in-game tests before listing.

Still playing on last-gen?

GTA 5’s cheats still work in GTA 5, and they always will — they are just answers to a different question. "GTA 6 cheats for PS4" has no honest answer because the premise does not exist; beware any site comfortable pretending otherwise, since the same shortcuts usually run through its news and map pages too.
